1. THE BUSINESS ZONE:  Ownership and Black Economic Empowerment

The shareholder of THE BUSINESS ZONE is a previously disadvantaged individual. The long-term objective is to ensure that equity by PDI’s and women within The Business Zone grows to significant levels. Its service is provided by competent professionals who apply the best practice business principles yet who retain their ubuntu heritage.
The Business Zone’s aim is to create additional employment for PDI’s.

The Business Zone regularly partners with other black organisations when working on public-private transactions with the aim of transferring skills as well as learning from other companies. This is on a project-by-project basis. Currently we are working with Boitshepo Brokers on short term insurance.
